3 Days 2 Nights Salt Lick Lodge and Finch Hattons Tented Lodge
In the morning you will be picked from your Beach Hotel and depart by road on safari to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. Have lunch on arrival at Taita Hills Lodge. After lunch, game drive in the sanctuary until sunset, and chances are good to see lions as well. Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick Lodge. Salt Lick Lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavels sits on stilts over a series of water holes. The two-storey towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs, are connected by open-air-bridges, creating an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind - you can see animals in all directions because it offers spectacular open views.
Have an early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, continue with the mid-morning game drive in the sanctuary with lunch at Taita Hills Lodge. Depart after lunch to Tsavo West National Park. The Park offers tremendous views with diverse habitats, ranging from mountains, river forest, plains, lakes and wooded grassland. Its plains borders with Tanzania. Have your afternoon game drive enroute to the Finch Hattons Tented Lodge. This luxury-tented lodge, named after the aristocrat Denys Finch Hatton who introduced Royalty to the bush and whose style was impeccable. Mineral water bubbles out of the rock, forming 3 huge Hippo Pools, home to Hippos and Crocodiles. The tents have all of the amenities of a five star hotel with bathrooms en-suite. Breakfast is served on the Terrace, overlooking the main Hippo Pool against the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Finch Hattons Tented Lodge.
Have an early morning game drive returning to the Finch Hattons Tented Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, have game drive enroute to the gate Lunch enroute on your way to Mombasa at Mtito Andei, later proceed to Mombasa drop off at your beach hotel
